Basic Hustle Fixes

Encountering a lot of errors sending messages? Having trouble seeing replies? If Hustle is acting weird, here are a few things you can try before reporting the issue.

Log Out and Back In

A good first step, this can help with some issues both in the app and on the website.

In the Hustle App
  1. Tap the button at the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap “Logout” at the top right.
  3. Log back into the Hustle app.
  4. If you don’t see your workflows, make sure you’re looking at the right organization!
On the Website
  1. Click your name at the top right.
  2. Click “Logout” in the menu.
  3. Log back into the Hustle website.
  4. If you don’t see your workflows, make sure you’re looking at the right organization!

Uninstall and Reinstall the App

Usually logging out and back in resolves minor issues, but sometimes a full reinstall works. If Hustle keeps telling you that it needs to update but there’s no new update in the app store, use this method.

  1. Uninstall the app. (Android instructions and iPhone instructions)
  2. Reinstall the app. (Android store link and iPhone store link)
  3. Log back into the Hustle app.
  4. If you don’t see your workflows, make sure you’re looking at the right organization!

Clear Your Browser’s Cache/Saved Data

A note before you try it: this method will sign you out of all accounts on all websites in your browser. If that’s inconvenient at the moment, you can try using the Hustle website in Incognito Mode first. If Incognito Mode helps with your issue, that means it’s likely that clearing your cache will fix the issue; you can use Incognito Mode until you’re ready to follow the steps below.

  1. Log out of the Hustle website (see above).
  2. Follow these instructions to clear Chrome’s cache and cookies.
  3. Log back into the Hustle website.
  4. If you don’t see your workflows, make sure you’re looking at the right organization!

If you’re not using Chrome, that might be the issue! Hustle works best in Chrome, so try using it.

Try the Other Platform

If you’re having trouble on your phone, you can switch to the desktop to see if it works better (or vice versa). Sometimes an issue will only be with the app or the website, and switching temporarily can allow you to keep texting while Hustle works to fix things after you (or we) report it.
